911 sc engine stumble
A friend of mine has a 78 sc that has an engine stumble at 2200 rpm. I think it started about the time that a lot of ignition system work was being done. The distributor was rebuilt by a racing group, could they have done anything in the rebuild of the distributor that would cause this? Any other thoughts? Thanks.

I can think of a lot of things that could cause this.
Injectors, cap rotor, spark plugs, wires etc. or maybe the timing? Just throwing ideas out there.

all of those things have already been looked at, timing, injector flow, new wires, plugs, rotor, cap, etc.

It could be something as simple as a plug connector not seated on a spark plug.
After checking that, pull your plugs to see which one is black compared to the others. |
