I'm pretty sure that Cstreit is/was using them. He's practically in your neighborhood too.

we took the c-6 cams out of my 3 liter 10.5:1 twin plug, 46 ida 914-6 and installed the web 120/104. Fairly even and nice when off cam (below 4500) and it ramps up quick from there. I have twin plug crankfire so that helps a bunch.
It does load up some in traffic and is not a good cruising cam (at 3200 it surges back and forth- this is the best we could do w/o losing top end punch) so it makes for a noisy cruising speed at 4k plus or you are always hauling a** because it feels so good while accelerating. I think its an acceptable compromise due to how well the car behaves on the track

Thanks. I'd be running a 3.0 w/46 PMO's 10:1
Sounds like I'm on the right track.

Because i use the car for backroads runs/ rallies as well as the track and pump gas while on the street here is the jetting we set up with
40 venturis
165 main
180 air
F3 emulsion
60 idles (possibly 65 if track only)
tall auxillary venturis
1 5/8" headers with a cross over tube. Two outlet muffler on the street and straight megaphones (hence the x over) on the track.
I would like to test the two into one straight pipe to see if that would help any in the mid range- i still have to back off the gas and hit the throttle under certain high g quick uphill/downhill turns- suspecting the accel pump is giving the extra fuel when i do the "2 step"
Turns like #2 or #8-9 at willow, which are very long high G , are no problem

I think the stepped headers that have been available help the mid range more- we've experimented with some here and there, but no back to back tests like others have. The clients have been happy with them over the regular types

Thanks for the data Dave. I gave all the info to Richard Parr and he's putting together some 46's for me. I can't remember off the top of my head the details. I have 1 5/8 headers and a set of M&K track shorties.
