I doubt it. I'd plan on 4 hours, but it's been a long time since I did that one. The thing to do is to check the CHP and county road sites for construction, etc.

It's about 150 miles along the coast. That time of day should not be much traffic, but check on the half-moon bay area to be sure. Some minor city traffic in Santa Cruz.

Beautiful drive. Would be even better if you could continue another 100 miles through Big Sur...

Take 101 south to Hwy 17. bypass all the road construction areas.

you should make it in 2 hours

Take hwy 1. Any road work will only cause minor delays. It takes me 2 hours to get to Monterey from my home near Half Moon Bay, and 30 minutes to get to SF.

Actually, you could probably make it if you take Skyline (Hwy 35) to Hwy 9 through Felton. I take it you're driving a P-car. Might as well have some fun. Just yesterday I drove from Half Moon Bay to Boulder Creek via 35 and 9, and it took 1 hour. And that was in the ol' Westy.
