I remember reading about I & II, & being mad -- very mad -- at myself for not going. The car & driver turnout for I & II were amazing. The trip planning begins....

I'll be coming from Portland, Oregon with plenty of memory chips for my camera.
Can't wait! Will there be a big Pelican contingent area to hang with? Or Pelican corral? It would be great to meet a bunch of you guys. And drink a beer or two. Maybe (just maybe), I'd have to take the cross continental drive in Kermie just for this event.

There will likely be several Pelican drivers racing there as well [myself included]. See y'all there ... hopefully will be a good as RRI was.

I'm in... Drove the SC to RR II... Fantastic weekend! The early car goes this trip! I'm interested in a caravan departing NC. It would be neat to plan this where we all converge at points headed south.

I went to the last one and it was a blast. Talk about being a kid in a candy store. I don't think there was a Porsche made that wasn't there just incredible. I will be there again.................plus it's in my back yard.

Just FYI, The Spacecoast and North Florida regions of PCA (lot's of Pelicans included) are going to have a block of rooms at a VERY nice resort as well as some evening activities on a NIB to Rennsport.
We were going to be hosting this years Escape event but then Rennsport got confirmed. So this is a fallback that should help folks traveliing for the event. It looks like we might try for the Escape again in 2009.
