Any Pelicans in N. Carolina or W. Virgina??

I'm looking for a mechanic or shop in North Carolina. The car is near the border of N. Carolina and W. Virg. City is called Eden and the zip code is 27288. If anyone knows of someone, please let me know.
thanks

Eden is near the NC/VA line about 45 minutes north of Greensboro. Here's the one I'd use if I needed a shop...highly recommended:

I second the Bill Gordon recommendation!

Thanks everyone! Does anyone want to check out the car for me before it goes for a PPI? Just a walk through to see if its even worth it to pursue. Its an early car i'm looking at.

How early? Carbs, MFI or CIS? Are you looking to do a per-PPI with a compression or leakdown test, etc or just a test drive?

Bill Gordon

Bill is the Man to do the Work. I was JUST in Eden this morning looking at a 65 911. Too bad I didn't read this board first.

If David can't help you out, I could probably take a quick look to see if it's worth pursuing with a PPI.

there are a number of high quality Pcar shops in NC, Speedwerks, Zuffenhaus, Black Forest Racing, Bill Gordon are all in the western part of the state.. any of them are more than qualified to give you an accurate report
you could also check out the Carolina Region PCA website for more recommendations

Guys, thanks for all the help. I think the deal is going to fall through. The seller is not willing to bring the car anywhere. With me being in another state, its hard for me to purchase anything without great details. Especially no PPI!

Its a 68 911 w/ a 72 motor. That's all i know! No Pics and no info. If anyone is near the area and wants a project, i'll forward you the info. It'll be great for someone close to check it out and buy it. Price is $3500 for the car.
