what is the correct idle

Hey, My idle is about 800 RPM when warm.
A friend of mine said this is incorrect. He said it is to low.
Also if I need to turn it up where is the adjustment.
Thanks in advance

The spec book says 880 + - 40 for Carrera's from '87 on. Previous models 800 +- 40.Adjusting the idle speed is not a DIY sort of thing. The spec book shows a 2 page procedure involving a CO tester, special tools, a test lead to bridge term b&c in the test socket ect.
