Question 87 3.2 performance/driveability question

I recently performed my own maintenance trying to isolate an engine miss. While my car sat for 2 months in my garage, I remove amd replaced(r&r) the coil, roter, plug wires, spark plugs, tested the speed sensors, throttle valve sensors etc, removed the fuel injectors and had them professionally cleaned by a company in Connecticut, and sprayed intake cleaner into the air filter opening for the air flow sensor. End result, she runs really great!! But.. having owned the car since new something seems different. It accelerates more like it did when new, I think the clean injectors made the biggest difference, but at the higher speeds and gears, when I take my foot off the gas, the car seems to coast without much deceleration. Looking at the tach, maybe I take my foot off at 5000 rpm and the engine slowly winds down as the car coast eventually to a stop. If I engage the clutch the rpm drops to idle almost instantly. Thats what is odd, what I remember is a more rapid rate of rpm drop off when taking foot off gas pedal. Could it be that my injectors have been dirty for such a long time that the engine spooled down more rapidly because they were dirty when taking foot off the gas or maybe I damaged something by spraying the intake cleaner or a valve in the throttle system isnt closing properly? All sensor connections seem fine so I'm just looking for some insight from a fellow 911 driver.
Thanks in advance cause the people make this forum great.

Might want to check the sensor for closed throttle (see the big black arrow in the pic). It cuts the injectors off on decel/closed throttle until the engine RPM slows to >1,080 RPM.

If it's not closing; the injectors will not shut off on decel. Also, the idle RPMs may hunt around a lot.

The switch should just click off/on at the first crack off of, or to closed throttle.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Doug,
I'll give that a look and see what we come up with.
