Carrera Plug Wire Sizing?
I think the stock Carrera plug wires are 7mm. Anything to be significantly gained by replacing with 8mm wires, and how difficult are they to install? TIA

A lot of folks like the blingy Red Magnacor wires...they crowd the dizzy area pretty badly and are hard to install..or keep "on". The wire "holders" need to be drilled out to accept the 8.5's too.
Magnacor makes perfectly fine 7 mm...but these are black, look stock and lack bling...so they're not talked about much. - Wil

Wil,
Thank you for your prompt reply. Excluding the "bling" I wondered if the larger diameter contributed any meaningful performance upgrade. I was told the difference in cost between the 7mm & 8mm was less than $10, so if the 8's were an improvement.... |

Ask them...but I think the extra width is only insulation....which has "some" benefit...but it's not fatter core.

7mm is fine, 8mm is just harder to fit
