spring plate installation angle

I wasn't smart enough to check my spring plate angle before disassembly. it's a '73 T with a 2.7, 25/19mm t-bars and factory sways. does anyone know the correct angle or some formula for getting it. I have searched but can't seem to find it, I'm sure I've seen a procedure somewhere. any guidance would be much appreciated, thanks, Don. ps. I am installing s-a-w adjustable plates.
