From the pictures, anyway, it looks like a pretty good replica. 2400 pounds seems like alot of money for a fake though...

They looks like Revolution 5-spoke Classics, not Fuchs knockoffs.

Betcha it gets 8k + pounds.

Someone posted a link to a Covin enthusiast site a few months ago. Some of these guys are spending 15KUS on their replicas. Hard to understand how you could justify that, but I guess you can't get a decent SC for 12K in the UK like you can in the US.

Its all about insurance....to insure a genuine p/car for a 21-25 year old driver in the UK it would cost in excess of 10,000 GBP to insure the Covin kit car it would cost less than 500 GBP. My company builds/supplies Lotus Seven Inspired Replicas that can be built by customers at home for between 7 k and 12k, do 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and can be insured for 200 GBP.....my weekend indulgance is my p/car.
