Is this fuel pump correct for a 1969 911S 2.0 MFI?

Hi,

any experts can confirm if this fuel pump is suitable to mount on a 1969 911S 2.0 with MFI system?

Josep,

NO.
This will not work on any 911 - not MFI, not CIS.
That pump is probably for a 914-4 or VW

The correct electric pump is:
Porsche 901.608.105.00
Bosch 058097 0001

Best,
Grady

It's a pump for a D-Jet 914, system pressure is 2 bar or 28 PSI. As you know from searching the archives here, the system pressure for MFI is 1 bar, and the pressure relief valve opens at 2 bar. So your ability to correctly diagnose MFI issues like rich running would be forever compromised if you install such a pump.

That's the long answer. . . the short answer is if Grady says it, it's true.
