That's a very nice looking steup. What's happenening with that grill? Looks a bit unusual. I'd love to see more pix.

thanks for the nice emails guys .
dan . it,s an original factory tail. i made my own grills . they have larger openings and the holes are trianglular when looking straight down at it .
it,s just because the tails up and on an angle that it looks clear

autometer liquid filled .
i have twin fuel regs and a guage for each . dial in the fuel pressure to each carb separately so theres no question they are both getting the proper amount. the other is the oil pressure.
not that i don,t trust the electric vdo oil guage but i wanted a mechanical oil pressure guage which i think is more exact. they are both hooked up.

thanks larry
to answer the other questions.
i stripped it down to bare metal ,took it completely apart. i,m mean completely! ex. i took the mirrors off then i took the mirrors apart.same goes with every other part. learned a lot about how they are built.
every single nut and bolt and wire was removed and reinstalled.
every part was painted separately . did it all myself in my 24x24 garage.
layed every piece out on my basement floor like a schematic diagram so i would know where they went later. anyways that gives you an idea.
