Seats question

Hi,
I got these seats from 2007 cayman for my 76 targa.
I was told they are manual and I can see what the lever is doing what is this other thing for (in yellow circle).
Thank you.

I'll be interested to see how they work in your car. I really liked the seats in my Cayman(s).

So when you were 97 years in the future, what did the rest of the car look like? I would think seats from a 2097 car would be pretty advanced. Amazing that they are not mind control activated.

You have the funny typo of the week.

Well if you are going to correct his typing, I'll correct your math .. 2097 would be 78 yrs into the future, not 97 ... unless you are living 19 years in the past????

You guys are funny.
I've corrected it 2007.
So if that is a back rest switch then I need power to these puppies. They were advertised as manual, grrrr.

Does anyone know how to bring power to these and how to adjust the rails to fit on my car?
Thank you.

Maybe R-9043

Looks pretty simple to fabricate.

Just run 12V from your fuse panel or somewhere with excess power for seat .

They're referred to as manual vs. the full power seats that were available as an option (8way vs 12 way? Can't recall) they manually adjust fore and aft and up and down, but have an electric tilt adjustment. I'm guessing that has to do with certification for crash testing, since the back has to not move in a crash?

What fuse would be enough to connect the seats, I don’t have carpet so running alone should be easy.
