Has anyone ran the new Hankook Ventur RS2? What are your opinions of them?

For street I really like them. I've had them for about two months now. No road noise, good grip, and super cheap. I'll buy them again. I hear they don't do too bad on the (dry) track either.
Here's what I'm running; 7s - Hankook Ventus RS-2 Z212 205/55 ZR16 91W 9s - Hankook Ventus RS-2 Z212 245/45 ZR16 94W Alignment and corner balance after tires where mounted. http://www.caranddriver.com/features/10252/tire-test-the-quick-and-the-tread.html Last edited by Bearded Viking; 01-20-2007 at 04:46 PM.. |

I have a set on my 1976 since the summer. They seems to have good grip and have a nice thread pattern. When I was buying, it was between the Kumho MX, Falken Azenis, and the Hankook RS2s. I also read an article in car and driver that recommended them. For the money, I think the are a good buy.

I have the Hankooks now. I prefer Kuhmo MX's. The Hankooks are a nice street tire, but the MXs hold up better on the track. The RS2s need a bit more PSI, get greasy quiker, and chunk a bit more, than the MXs. And the MXs only cost a bit more.
