I just ordered tickets and will attend Saturday with ny digital camera.

Looking at the entry list, there are 7 Daytona Prototypes (DP) out of 28 entries and 23 GT3 Cup 911s in Grand Touring (GT) out of 44 entries. The total field is 72 entries.

Everyone who knows a team or someone on a team could become an intermediary between the team and the Forum. Part of the fun is seeing all the little details of the event.

I actually know one of the drivers. David Murray is driving for a factory Nissan team but their 350Z isn't ready. They are renting a Porsche GT3 for him to drive.

I also know a couple of the guys that will be in the pits for them.

Cool ! If you have "In The Pit" access to the Internet you could tap in to a thread here.

Here's what's happened in the past. First of all, Grady knows or can interpret a LOT from what's going on, but we only have access to internet live updates or TV coverage. You could post what you see or hear, then post it, he (and/or hopefully others) will provide nearly instant feedback on the whole why's and whatfor's . It's awesome and a great LEARNING tool for those of us that haven't gotten the experience to truely understand what's going on.

It's addictive and fun !
