1696 911 Window Regulator
rolling up the window, heard a "pop" and then no lifting. Have taken the panel off and loosened the winder. It appears as though the winder handle has come adrift of the toothed mechanism. The entire system seems riveted together and I am unsure as to how to get the gears to work (given what I see, i am assuming it is gear driven)
Any help with this is appreciated. Have looked through the tech articles and did as good a search on threads as seemed possible. But I have not found something similar. Thank you

Think you are right. Been a bit of a doofus in getting the regulator from the window track. Will get back at it tomorrow.

Do a search on our forum "window regulator".
Did mine a while ago. Take your time, put something on the glass to prevent scratching. Other members will chime in. Good luck, Gerry |
