Are all early fenders the same other than 1968?
Are all early 911 fenders the same? My car needs a fender and I know 1968 had an extra light but other than that are all swb and lwb fenders the same?

No. SWB 65-68 front fenders had almost no flare compared to the 69-73 fenders. Also, horn grills and turnsignals are different. LWB fenders will fit but is not correct.

'68's had reflectors on the front fenders, were on rear 1/4's also, but not an extra light 65-68 fenders will fit you car (if it is a '66)

The ’68’s as well as having side markers had a different profile to the inner lip. If you run your finger around the lip from front over the top to back, you can feel that it gets thinner at the top to accommodate the 5 ½" wheels (Johnson page 5)
