It must be your fault.
![]() There is a wealth of info here on Pelican. Try typing using different words and not the numbers.

complete porsche P/N list with diagrams
See this post. Get P/N book from Porsche in .pdf for free online. Use search function with Acrobat I find these invaluable for nailing p/n's. especailly if things are messy like mid year changes. |

what i'm after in this case is the contents of a given 915 by type. 915/55 , 915/45 , etc. the search engine doesn't like the '/' apparrently. i tried searching on 'gear chart' and came up w/ this <Re-gear tansmission - 915?> the first response listed the gear stack & R&P ratio based on 915/67 this is what i'm after. i've sent a PM to Bill inquiring further. hopefully that will do the trick. thanks all! best jerry |

I'm looking for the same info. Recently a chart was published here for the 901. Shows tranny number and gear ratios. We are looking for the same thing except for the 915. Searching pics up bits and pieces but not all for comparison. Soooo we need a chart like this one but for a 915

HI ty901 do you have the gearbox No' as the spec books do not list a 915/55 the nearest is 915/65, if you have the box No' it will then give the year and narrow the type/box down for info.
regards mike

Jim Sims did a great write up on rebuilding the 915 a few years ago. It's extensive but a home run of info.
I've been looking for it for over a year and can't find it. I printed out about 20 pages and the borrower misplaced it when he moved his repair shop.

One of my most used threads is the "Ultimate Brake Upgrade" thread. We need a similar one for the 915 where the good threads are condensed and listed. It would be a daunting task though.....
