How to remove flag mirrors wiring?
Trying to remove the flag mirrors without cutting the wires. Is there a plug somewhere??
|
Yes. The wiring harness is long. It runs through the door and into the front cowl section. You can see the harness in the door gap by the hinges when the door is open. The plugs are located up by the front hood hinges. It is a pretty tedious task to fish the wires through all the openings and grommets.

Hi. There are two plugs, one small one inside the actual mirror but you have to remove the glass and then the mirror. Remove the three small screws to remove the motor piece to get access to it. The other larger one is inside the door frame. You have to pull from the inside of the door to get the wiring off. Hope this helps,

No wonder people just cut the wires and are done with them... uff... I had to remove the pins from the plug to be able to pull the wires through the hole... Anyway, I labeled the plug with number and wrote down where each one goes. Mirrors finally out.
