questions about fuchs

so im gonna go back to fuchs on my 85 targa. before i start looking i need some advice.

what was the original configuration on my 85 targa? 16 inch diameter but what were the widths front/back?

besides what the original config was perhaps i can have some of you give me recommendations? I currently have 8x17 and 10x17 aftermarket turbo twist rims on there and I think its affecting the handling in adverse ways. (number 1 it jacked up the ride height and i can't lower it otherwise the tires will rub everything out) I've got turbo tie rods and bilstein sports and I want this thing to handle like it really should.

I wanna spend no more than like 2,000 on a set of wheels...

thanks in advance!

david

6" front, 7" rear. If you want to spend around $1000 the popular set up is 7" front and 8" rear.
