Porsche Crest just a quick update everybody on my updating process (79 911 SC)

First off: Have now got the H4's in place, but I have not updated any relays, I just plugged the 3 prong plug in and that was that? will I be okay?

Removed, repaired, and reintalled the oil return line that I damaged.

All parts; rockers, 3.8 tail, front and back bumpers, and H4 trim rings are at the paint shop. I also cut the grill out to flush mount my round fogs in the oil cooler area on the bumper.
and cut out the squares for the jack hole mount on the new rocker panels.

I added the steel replacement bars front and back in the bumper shock mounts

I re-glued all the rubber with 8008 rubber adhesive around the back lights and below the lights while I was there.

Replaced rear license plate lights with the bolt lights and wrapped with the heat deflector tape.

Added the second decklid shock mount at the firewall (PIA!)

On the the 20th parts should be back so I can get new pics out of the work done. I will still need to cut out 4 inch round grills for the brake duct area on the new rockers

I'll be sanding and repainting the 1/4 window trim black, but have a friend that may know someone that can help me remove the trim B4 painting.

I bought that black 993"911" rear decklid emblem and will just repaint it silver.

I need to add the bracket still on the passenger side rear decklid hinge.

I think for this time around this is all I will be doing, for a while now... Geez, if I can't be happy enough with the 911 now I may as well just buy a different one eh?

It's been fun, but I am happy I am near the end. Man, Porsche ownership can become addicting...

I remember the oil line issue from last week. You got lucky getting that thing off without any major hassle. Now that you had it off in one piece, how would you like to try to ship that thing!!

If you are using 55/60 watt lamps, yes for now. Everyone should install relays even if they're running stock headlights. If you've installed higher wattage lamps, you need relays now.
