wow, very cool! That looks like a ton of fun, but I think it helps if you know the track.

Having grown up in Michigan driving on the lakes in winter, that looks like great fun.....

Great footage, I just wish that I could understand German so I could know what the guy was saying.

I don't know who the driver is, but the film is from the German TV station DSF (Deutsche Sport Fernsehen). Could be an employee?

Is that Walter Rohr (sp?) the Porsche factory test driver and former rally driver?

It's not Walther Röhrl.

It's not a Carrera 2 either. Looks like a GT2 or GT3.

the yellow car in the dry is a GT3, but the red car is definitely an NA "regular" Carrera in either 2 or 4 wd. My guess is it's a factory driver, but like I said, "guess."

Wow, that's great stuff. Having just had our first real snowfall of the year, I have been enjoying driving my honda through the white stuff, but a 911 would be fantastic. I think I'll have to replace my handbrake shortly...
One question, how does he know where the track edges are?
