Pics of Lindsey P2s on my Targa

Took the wheels off my Targa to get them painted black and couldn't resist the temptation to take the P2s off of my coupe and let the Targa have a turn. They definately make a statement.

I don't know what color the car is. It's a one of a kind paint to sample. The car looks different colors in different light. Some times it looks blue, sometimes purple, or black even. It's original but only the guy who ordered it knows its origin.

They were made out of 16x6 Fuchs by Lindsey Racing. Check out Lindseyracing.com. About $600 each.

The color looks to be Marine Blue Metallic.
I have the same car, same color, in a cab.

thankyou, so I would imagine you send your 16's plus approx 2400 and there you have it. And then you still need tires so I guess its about a 3500 setup. WOW!! but its so nice, it seems so worth it.
THanks again
Nathan

looks very nice. I'm afraid if I put wheels that big on my SC my max speed would be 75mph.

Beautiful Cab. Wish my interior was the color of yours. Blue on Blue is a little too redundant for me so one day I may change it. My paint to sample Targa looks different parked next to a marine blue metallic.

It's not quite that bad: if you supply your own donor 16's, they knock off (I'm pretty sure) $125 per wheel.

I couldn't find any 16x6s for less than $125 each. Looked all summer and it seems that many people selling 16x6s knows there is a market for them created by the Lindsey wheels so in the end it didn't save me any but at least it didn't cost me any extra. I found a pair on thesamba.com which is a VW site and some of those guys deal in the 16x6 market.

Wouldn't it be great if someone could make a set of 17" Fuchs reproductions for under $1000/set?

(CAD drawings will be in next week.)

M491driver,
Can I havev 2 questions M491driver.
1- What kind of exhaust do you have on the targa? Or did you custom the tips to come out straight to the back (not to the side)
2- If your car is custom body to wide, do you have adapters on thhose Linseys or they are custom so you can use them without adapters?
