You should revalve the shocks. I am doing the 22/28 bars with monoballs and pb bushings and talked with Bilstein on the rx of my neighbor ex-ALMS driver and Daytona 24 hr podium finisher. Bilstein definetly rx's a matching revalve. Call them up and ask regarding your specific application. If you're going that far, you want everything matched. You don't want the shocks to be under-powered compared to the bars.

With heavier torsion bars and the weight of your car, I believe Bilstein would recommend re-valving. Send them to Bilstein or buy from some of the shops that will give you their own proprietary valving.

Is the red bar an aftermarket underbody 22mm? Where did you get it?

If I were in your position, I would talk to Steve Weiner (Rennsport), and get his opinion. I've got an '88 (lightened by over 150lbs), with Sanders 22/29 t-bars, poly-bronze bearings all around, monoballs, strut brace, etc. and I'm running stock Bilsteins (HD on the front, Sports on the rear), and I love my setup! I did mine after consulting with Steve regarding a 'total system' that's a proven combination together. Despite the fact that many of us run HD (front)/Sport (rear) combinations, I've always read the Bilstein recommends against this...so much for opinions . You may find that the stock Bilstein HD/Sport combo is already what you're looking for...good luck!
