NorCal upholstery shop?

Anyone know, and have dealt with an excellent Bay Area Upholstery shop? I have a pair of seat bolsters I would like to get recovered.
thanks,

When I was looking for my car a few years ago, I looked at a car belonging to the owner of an upholstery shop in Burlingame. He had redone the interior, and it looked great. I don't remember the name of the shop, but it was right around the block from GD racing: http://www.gdracing.com/ who did the work on his car. You may want to give them a call and see if the shop is still there, and they still reccomend them.

Check with Bascom Trim & Upholstery in Santa Clara. Top quality work but it'll cost you.

If cost is really no object, call Sid's Custom Upholstery (also in Santa Clara). Sid Chavers has been doing show-winning custom car & hotrod interiors for years. The very best...

HW: I have used both Bascom and SId's. Both are good. I recall too that Bascom is $$.

I had Palo Alto Upholstery do my Targa top a few years ago; and I'm very satisfied.

The guy who did my top told me he does lot of custom upholstery work for cars that are routinely seen at the Pebble Beach and Palo Alto Concours'.

They used to be targatops.com but apparently the Porsche police came after them. I had them redo my targa top two years ago and I was very satisfied as well.

Another upholstery shop is Armand's in Walnut Creek - they redid my seats and were great to work with.

I took my car to Bascom Upholstry and they restiched my stock steering wheel for $150.00. Mind you this was single stitch not dual stitch that originally held the steering wheel together.

I also asked them how much to fix the tear in my seat, below my butt, and he quoted $500 which sounds a bit steep.

I had Generations in San Jose, rebuild the sport seats in my 67S. Very happy with their work.
