because I found the same improvement in ride quality from my needle bearings install.

And thus theorize that the improvement in motion over poly-type suspension bushings can be attributed to ride quality (instead of the spring)

What bushings are in that car
Nice car by the way!

I dont have any bushings anywhere. They are all spherical bearings. The front is the racers group 935 set up and the rear is the erp...

The bearings make a world of difference in ride quality.

I have needle bearings in my front torsion bar suspension and noticed a big difference.

Larry, that thing is as clean as can be, and looks to have a lot of adjustment to say the least.

Did you find a need to do any special chassis reinforcement, especially at the upper mounting areas?

How bad is the noise, ride harshness? Have you taken it out on the street?

Ok let me ask it this way. Welding re-enforcements is no issue. The engine isnt back in the car. The torsion bars are stock, the shocks are probably very old. Replacing tbars and shocks vs coil over price? I can see prices on suspention parts but not coil overs....It the cost isnt too far off, then why not go coil overs in my case?
