I love that the "uncommon" colors all seem to be some metallic maroon derivative.

I've seen one maybe two 3.2's this color...
Forest Green Metalic code 22E Tannengruen has beige int. I get a lot of comments on the color and combination the picture I have handy is from Laguna DE http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1172368338.jpg |
Here's my ride...
I have only seen one other turbo in this color. Mexico Blue! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1172369728.jpg |
Another Ruby
Here is my 83 Ruby Red cab. It has grey-beige interior. Is there a source somewhere that tells us how many of each color were made each year. I have been interested to find out how many other Ruby Red first year cabs there are screaming down the road.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1172370583.jpg

Garnet Red Metallic used to seem a bit rare, but I see a few Pelicans have similar colours. That Mexico Blue is a total 70's blast! |
Seriously...this is getting funny. Every one of these cars is metallic red/maroon. Clearly that color isn't quite as uncommon as you think! :)

Maybe Guards Red on Black is now a rarity?? Someone should be the first to post this endangered colour!

Ok. That's *sick*

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Sick is a good, good thing. It reminds me of that Carbon RS replica out there. I'll find a pic of it and post it. |
Here's the carbon RS replica. Everything is carbon. His move was to accentuate the carbon by painting the "regular" (read: metal) stuff silver, and clearcoating over the carbon. It is stunning in person.
