carrera brake rebuild
I decided to rebuild my rear brakes on my 88 911...
HOW does one get the Dust covers to snap on ?????? My fingers hurt....

I used the ol' Gerber baby food jar cover and it worked perfect. Local supermarket will have them for .89 cents. Mix veggies never tasted so good!

If the jar lid doesn't work there is another trick. Bend every 3rd tab flush on the metal snap ring and they will pop in with less effort but still not come off. I had problems with snapping them on and a trusted wrench told me about this trick. I have put 25k miles on the car since and the dust boots are fine. Good luck.
