Engine Out - Hooray!!!
Well today was the day. I was lucky to be able to get a great deal of help from a new friend and Pelican member from PA. The entire job took 7 hours. But now the engine is finally out of it's old home and headed for a new one.

It's called Gelbgrun. Yellow green, Supposedly a popular color in California in 1974 where this Targa was deliverd new.
It grew on me as time went by. |

Gotta love another alumnus of the "drop club" sticking their head out the back...
Looks like you're on a scissors lift, that should've helped. Congratulations! PS-I'm dropping mine next week.

Engine Drop next week
Well good luck. Having an experienced person showing me the step by step was a great benefit and learning experience.
Good luck with yours. Is it the first time? |

Re-Installing Engine
It is amazing how the perception of something can be so dramtically altered by the experience of adoing it. I can see how firing up the engine after a re-install can be awesome.
