1980-911 Brake Upgrade?

Hi,i have 2 sets of brake callipers and would need some advice for which will be optimum,
1.964 front & rear(no discs-what will work?),what mastercylinder
2.944 turbo front & rear(no discs-what will work),what m/cylinder
could someone please help with the correct combination,i have 16'' fuchs on the car.

Start here at Bill's site and see if you can find what you need. It will at least get you started until someone else chips in.

The 964 front is the same as the 944t front except oem the former is setup for leading mount and the latter is set up for trailing mount, swap the bleeds and feeds and they are interchangeable.

Same for the 964 r and 944t r.

It's a lot of work to mount either one right. For starters at least, in the front the axial mount ears are machined off to convert them to radial mount, it goes on from there.

Best to forget it unless you are a real maschochist

TONY G-the site gave all the needed info.
BILL,i race the car and need to upgrade,i run out of brakes due to over heating(working on add. cooling).The car has been lightened and i am installing a 964 motor.

If yo have to do something then

'78-89 930 rotors, w/ either 930 or 993 calipers are a far better choice
