v8_ranch, That's gonna look excellent. May I offer another small observation? The new H4's look great but stop by a small shop in a tough part of your town and see if they won't spray those headlight rings body color onb the cheap? The other option would be to do it yourself with a spray can from Paintscratch.com (use their clear over it). Your car is looking great. Congrats.

Thanks Dan. I agree with you on the rings. Actually, I have not put on the deco rings yet. But now that I am getting the polished fuchs, I am wondering if I should get chrome rings instead of the painted. How does the paintscratch deal work as far as compensating for fading?

Thanks

Thanks Builder! Your car is looking like it is going to look great...

Are you going back with the Ruby. Sometimes I like the color, and sometimes, I scratch my head... The funny thing is I am also scratching my head about the H4's. It might just be I am so used to seeing it with the scoops. I'm sure I will get used to it. Wish I had your rear wheels!

I am staying with Ruby Red. I have a total burgundy interior and thought about changing the shade a bit but if I changed the original color, my fellow Pelican's would send me to Porsche hell. After looking a different options, I truly like the color...

That's cool. I keep trying to figure out how many were made in each year. In particular, I would to know how many Ruby cabs, being that it was first year. I have not yet been able to find that type of info.
