Hi,
I am in the middle of putting a 3.6 into my 930 and I could not find the part in the picture in my 964 manual. So, my question is what in the world is it and how should it be attached??? Thanks, Sean ![]() |

Welcome!
I canīt help you on that specifically, but it is interesting you are transforming a turbo into a n/a!

Hi Markus,
That is only partly true, the engine started life as a 964 N/A, but Stephen at IA rebuilt and modified to be a turbo engine. I am just in the middle of the install on my car and trying to work out all those little details that make a mod like this "fun". Sean |

Ok, so I have figured out it is the flapper actuator for the variable intake. The question now is how do I control it if I do not have a DME? I am using a megasquirt V3 to run the fuel and spark so do I have to buy a servo that I run with the MS or should I try and use the stock vacuum control and accumulator and have the MS run that? Thoughts?
Thanks, Sean |
