Hate the polished look on anything except an early long hood car myself. The black centers with the anodized lip is THE 80's 911 wheel. It is one of the only OEM wheels ever that actually "works" with a black center.

But, that is why they make other flavors of ice cream...

The real reason?

Because we are all raccoons. We go gaga over shiny things. This can cover all manner of sins. From polished petals on Fuchs to more involved sins like owning a Boxster!

Just re-read this post for fun. I like the knock on Boxsters...I've been a 911 guy all my life. My Boxster S will kick most 911s butt; just ask Pete Stout at Excellence.

And you don't see polished wheels on any Boxsters, do you?
