Recommendations for selling a 911

I am looking for recommendations for publications and websites to sell a 74 Porsche 911.

I am located in Wisconsin.

Use local paper?

www.hemmings.com

collector car trader online?

Sell at car shows?

Local PCA publications?

Thanks

I'd start with Craigslist. It's free.

List it here in the 'Porsche Cars for Sale' Forum. I bought my first 911 off of this site.

Yeah, right here. If that's not enough for you then pick one of these:

for local I would try the PP classifieds and or milwaukee paper.. The local PCA adds are typically way over priced so thing don't sell real well

Don't skip PCA classifieds, though. It's free, after all (if you're a PCA member). And they have both printed classifieds in the back of Pano, as well as an online classified section on their website. Not sure I'd join PCA just for this feature, though. And every once in awhile there are a few (Porsche) newbies on Roadfly looking for a car. Again, free.

How much for your car can you expect from these dealerships vs selling it yourself? I recognize they can probably sell it for more than you can.
