I have rears at 16 ET and I can run a 12mm spacer with them - so a realized ET of 4mm - That's about the extent of pushing the wheels out... That's with a 245/45/16 tire.

Yep. I concur with JD. I have 16x8 ET +28 and 16x9 ET +15 and they fit with no problem at the rear. I've actually run a 16x8 ET +11 rear with 21mm spacers and 225/50 tires and there's more room to spare.
