930 intercooler efficiency
 
Does anyone know the efficiency of a stock 930 intercooler?

Here's a link to some info on different intercoolers. Doesn't give exact efficiency but you can calculate it from these numbers.

The stock unit is pretty small and with the bypass valve doesn't help the turbo lag. Although compared to no intercooler it still drops the intake temp a good bit. I have a stock 930 intercooler if any one needs one, I went with the kokeln.

Mike,

The Kokeln site will give you the surface area, mass, inlet and outlet temp and pres. drop for the stock intercooler as well as some aftermarket. The numbers are for those that fit in the stock location to retain the AC. You can get much better performance if you are willing to give up your AC.
