More questions on converting and swapping
Brain children,
Will an SC Gas tank from a 78 fit in a 71 911? Can a electronic controlled 915 be converted into cable driven speedo? How hard is it to install the electronic window mechanisims into a door (still on car)? Is there a catch with sway away torsion bars and stock adjustable spring plates not mating well?? Thanks guys |

You didn't mention what induction you are using on the 71. But the SC tank will bolt (rest) right in. You'll just have to figure out plumbing and Fuel pump etc. to match your fuel/induction system. You'll also need the collapsible spare. The electric window regulators will bolt in easily with the doors on the car. The trick is the harness that needs to be fed under the dash and plugged into the existing holes in the rear of the front fenders/door jambs.
