Painted my center caps, but now a question of detail?

Painted my center caps toni, oops, this morning! Took me about an hour. Probably should have went to bed instead, but I took most of the week off and have been hanging with the kids while mom is out of town. The caps turned out OK, of course I am my harshest critic... The question I have is this, the PORSCHE across top of crest, should it be painted black or not? I have seen both ways on the board here. Is it a matter of preference?

I think the PORSCHE letters left unpainted in the proper way (if there really is a proper way)
