GT1 Le Man's pics
just thought id share some pictures of the historic races i attended last weekend. It comprised of Predominantly Porsche's, the feature car being the 1998 GT1 Le Man's car flown all the way from Germany. This car was just pulling in cars like no tomorrow without even trying, it was amazing..

Awesome. One of the great Porsche race cars for sure. Here're a couple of fotos I shot at Rennsport Reunion I at Lime Rock of the street version (very fast & very quiet, almost surreal):

Isn't that THE original Paris show car that introduced the Turbo (featured in Excellence a while back?) I think i read it lives down there. Cool RSR-esque flares. Any shots of the engine?.... supposedly has an a 3.0 RSR in back.

Sorry mate, the digi cam memory stick filled up so the vid was cut short. Do a Youtube search on Philip Island Classic there are others there.
Look on the Philip Island Circuit web site also for next year == >> http://www.phillipislandcircuit.com.au/calendar.php?sel=3&year=07 Too early for 08 calendar yet. These Porsches were 9 of the most famous racing Porsches from thier museum. They have been down here (in Aussie) since Sept last year. Was fantastic to see these cars running on the track. Especially the 550 and the 62 Formular 1 car. Thats on the video. Heres a couple more pics for ya. 901 Club display 908 racer Cockpit of the GT1

great photos and great video footage. What a weekend hey fellas.
this was an extremly nice looking car. Apparently, this car was a genuine 911S, imported from germany. I looked good around the track too.

I still haven't figured out why there are no (except for expensive signed prints) Pictures or simple posters of the 1-2 finish of the Gt-1 in 98. after all was monumental in that it was 50th anniversary, featured marque at Monterey, and the 1-2 finish at LeMans...(actually last year for their P-1 proto endeavor).
