Pressure Guage Wiring Question
I removed the vapor expansion tank behind the dash to replace the hoses and noticed a loose green wire. There is an unused spade connection on the oil pressure/temp guage. Should this green wire be connected to it? Car is a 1970 911T.

C4 Pazzo,
I suspect your gauges all work OK. The green wire (no tracer color) is for the Sportomatic over-temperature warning light. The good news is you can use this wire for a low-pressure oil warning light that was not original in your (S-instrument) 911. Best, Grady

Thanks, Grady, for your speedy response. I'll leave it disconnected for now, but I suspect there is a low-pressure oil warning light mod in my future.
Back to connecting vapor hoses!
