I turned my tach and speedo to 90 degrees so I could see the red line at TDC, and 35 mph and up on the speedo (small Momo wheel caused this change). On my 81 SC, you can just grab the outside rim of the guages and start to wiggle it loose. Then just turn it to the position you want and push the guage back in tight. Easy as can be.

My steering wheel is tock, so my speedo is straight up. But my tach is rotated, and I like it better that way.
