will a stock 9:38 turbo ring and pinion fit a 915

will a
stock 9:38 turbo ring and pinion from a 1984 930 transmissioin
fit a 76 carrera 915 tranny?

if so what will be the effect on the box?

38/9= 4.22
31/8= 3.88
31/7= 4.43

The turbo's gearing is right between the 7:31 and 8:31.
