Problem - Parking Brake not Parking
Drove my Porsche home from the mechanic today and went to park it on my inclined driveway, and my parking brake isn't holding my car. I would car the mechanic but I picked up the car as he was closing. Right not I have it stopped with a 2x4. The light comes on saying the brake is pulled, and I hear the clicky noises as I pull it, but the car still moves.
Any ideas what is wrong or how to fix it?

Thanks everyone. Will look into it. My book of 101 Projects came in as well, so I saw a little blurb in that as well. But once again, thanks.

If adjusting doesn't work, I'd recommend getting more of your DIY PH.D. and get the back calipers and rotors off and examine the parking brake guts. They are often overlooked and when they have a lot of wear, things can happen like shoes can unclip from their associated hardware. Ask me how I know.
