Wayne,
Looks great!!

Very nice setup you have there! I like the easy navigation and visibility. Will be a great positive for sales when its done!!

I'd like five of those replacement 959 engines at $4.01. Will $25 cover the cost plus tax? I'll drive out to get them tomorrow.

sean m 03-30-2007 08:52 AM

That's what I'm talking about.........

Makes it much more simple for those of us that are just learning all these parts and where they go. As they say "a picture is worth a thousand words" You've got the picture with the words.

Great job!

Sean

Wayne, can you put me down for the complete 959 engine for $4.01 ? ;)

masraum 03-30-2007 11:27 AM

Looks great.

Wayne, has anyone ever ordered a part for a 959 or Carrera GT??

Zef 03-30-2007 12:00 PM

Holy Cooooooooool....I like it a lot...!

ros74911 03-30-2007 12:32 PM

i like that wayne. very nice neat feature on diagrams flash pics. pretty cool. just awesome!

Wow... I just clicked on a bunch of different categories just to see the diagrams. Last week I purchased a 964, so this is going to help me learn how this car was put together. I can see myself tackling more projects and ordering more parts in the future with this system. I’ve already found a couple parts that I just wasn’t able to find last week. Thank you!
Best,
Udo

Pretty slick Wayne, but it seems vaguely familiar......;)

Suggestion, increase the mouse "hover time" before the number goes red so I can move the mouse cursor past other parts in the diagram to get to the parts list on the right side without selecting any parts the cursor passed over on the way there.
Example:
Go to "Crankcase left"
Move the mouse over #2 (head stud) in the diagram
Now move the mouse from the diagram over to the list of 4 studs on the right side.
Unless you are lucky, when you move the mouse you are going to pass over another part and by the time you get to the list on the right side a different part will have been selected.

Still working on the user interface elements, trying to get this perfect...

Hmm, I don't think so. I've sold 906 parts before...

Nope, hadn't seen that before. Seen a few others though, and decided I could do it better...

Let me put it this way: with the current catalog, I could not find a window switch for my car. With this new version, I found it in less than 1 minute. Great job Wayne! http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/ura.gif

randywebb 03-30-2007 04:35 PM

Outstanding - hope to see it on the order status Email notices too.

Nice work, Wayne.
That'll cost me!
