Thumbs up Is This Not The Coolest Thing You Have Ever Seen?!?!

Okay, hold onto your hat. I've been working extra hard on a new feature for Pelican, and it's almost complete. Here's your sneak preview, let me know what you think...

Oh! Very cool, Wayne. Very clean and straightforward. It makes searching for parts much easier. I like it. When does it go live?

Nice going Wayne; you just made finding parts about 10x easier than it's been in the past. Kudos!

It's going to be used in parellel with our current catalog, not entirely as a replacement...

I'm impressed!

FINALLY! I don't have to compete with those pesky 964's for 993 parts.

quick and simple...so even a computer illiterate like me can understand. Great design, Wayne.

Very cool, I like the current set up though where you can buy the Gasket "kit" for the transmission for instance. When you hold the mouse over the tranny gasket it just gives you the one gasket. maybe its farther down the buying process where it asks you if you want the full kit. So keeping the old set up for some items is a great idea.

Veryintereting to look at the water cooling parts pictures in the 996 section. Man there is a ton of parts to make those work.

I tried to add a Weber top gasket from the parts list here (#35):

http://www.pelicanparts.com/PartsLookup/HTML/911_USA_65_69_KATALOG/107-00-Frame3.htm

and it shows up as an ashtray spring when you try to add it to your shopping cart. Something may be wrong. Cool idea though...

I'm not finished working on it yet. There are still many bugs...
