Looking good....

We'll be watching.
Looking nice. |
The FRP roof section has rain gutters molded on. After a phone call to the customer, the rain gutters were cut off the body and the FRP roof. Pictures to come on Monday.

The roof has been fitted and the rain gutters on the roof have been removed. The roof along with the rear quarters, refitted are reinstalled. Today we will "Glue" the rear quarter sections on along with the roof.

What did you use for a bonding agent to "glue" the quaters and roof section?
|
We will bond the FRP sections to the steel chassis with a 3M product called DP 8005
|
Thank you for the reply. When you mentioned "glue", especially after looking at the last photo, with mig in hand, I had to ask.
|
The DP 8005 didn't work out as well as we thought it would so we switched to bonding the panels with 3M 8219.

Here are some more photos as the project continues.
