BUMPER - 930 Euro - How do I remove the reflector strips?
I am in the process of disassembling a 930 Euro bumper recently purchased from a Pelican member. It is not obvious how these rubber strips attach at the point behind where the bumper shocks bolt on.
Is there a large rubber knob that is pushed through the bumper? A bolt? The shock mounts in the same spot so it would seem they both cannot be bolted counter to one-another. Here are some pictures, thanks for the help: ![]() ![]()

If you pop out the reflectors, you will find a single screw that retains each side.

I began to pop out one of them and decided not to in case they weren't designed for that.
There is a metal housing around the reflector, does it come out with the reflector as one unit? PS - you and I have something in common, I also modify and tune WURs and have directed many to your product. A buddy of mine coaxed 400RWHP out of his CIS. Do you happen to have a dyno or LM-1 of a STOCK 930 Euro? I am looking for that info to compare to my modified WUR Euro engine.

Yes, the reflectors have a metal backing. Gently pry out each reflector with a flat bladed screwdriver, exposing the screws that retain the rubber strips.
Thank you for pointing people in my direction regarding the Adjustable WUR. I do happen to have a dyno graph from a bone-stock Euro 930 engine running 1.0 bar of boost, but with no AFR readings. I hope this helps: ![]()

Thanks - got the strips off. Lots of rusty bolts. One of the shocks has a bolt so badly rusted it is not recognizable. Looks like the grinder comes out tomorrow.
That dyno chart looks very peaky. Is that a stock 3DLZ turbo? What shape was the fuel system and WUR in on this engine? Do you happen to have a graph from a C2T with the stock K27?

I'm glad to hear you got the rubber strips off. Those bumper bolts can be a pain if they've never been removed before.
The car in the dyno chart had a stock 3LDZ turbocharger. The fueling system was stock Euro, in good condition, as well. This car had a factory Euro exhaust system and original muffler with no cat. No modifications to the engine whatsoever, other than the increased boost. During this run the boost was measured and found to be in excess of 1.0 bar, actually closer to 1.1. This car was also running lean above 4500 RPM. After seeing the numbers, the boost was dropped and other changes were made to get the AFR in check. Sorry, I don't have any C2T/K27 dyno charts.

Thought I would finish this thread up with a picture of all the parts associated with a 930 Euro bumper. There is much more to it than I imagined. Once you remove everything and get down to the aluminum bumper the weight isn't so bad. Fully loaded it's a pig.
The car this bumper came off of must have been absolutely stunning. The paint is pearl white, a color you don't see much these days. ![]()
