Wierd "Y" option codes for SC
I have a "Suggested Prices Option Groups" listing from the US Porsche distributor dated 9/21/77 which covers the 1978 model year. There are several group option codes listed that I cannot find on any of the decoding websites. Some of them are (w/sugg. retail prices):
Y35 $1100. Y36 $3345. Y58 $2030 Y63 $2430. There are several others but this will give you an idea what's shown. I've never seen these "Y" codes in any other Porsche document, or any other place for that matter. Anyone know what these are or where to find info. on them? TIA

You might have to contact Porsche NA in Georgia.
The decoder on the internet shows Y63 as: Y63 Dark Wood Tiptronic Shifter includes wood hand brake, aluminum switch Don't think your 77 had a tiptronic transmission. :-) Nothing else showed up for the other numbers. Here is the link anyway. http://www.kindel.com/porsche/options.asp
