Hello again, friends:
Don't know if this is appropriate, but wanted to ask if anyone can help me secure a front left turn signal housing for my 1971 911. There's some aftermarkets availalbe and Genuine Porsche; the former is undesirable and the latter is quite a stretch. I'm located in So Cal and would be very interested in paying cash for used OEM part in good condition. I'm ready to rock and roll for quick pickup or mailing. Pls call Andre at 323-314-4964. Thanks in advance. |

Andre, Place a for want ad in the Pelican Classifieds first. Then your might want to try these guys
Parts Obsolete and these guys EASY If I had one I would help you out. Us 71T's have to stick together. Was this your electrical problem?

Dan da man! Thank you sir for the guidance. An old Air Force dude like me needs a vector from time to time and you certainly have given me one here. I placed a want ad with my phone number and received a call from a gentlemen in Carson about 10 minutes later. So, I've got one foot out the door.
In answer to your electrical question, the housing has less to do with my electrical issues. For that, I've been in Touch with Dave at TRE and he penciled me in for an appointment in a few weeks. Wish it could be sooner but I've learned a whole lot about being patient with this car! Feel free to keep in touch. I'm moving to Panama soon for work and play, and the 911 is going with me! I hope to be a catalyst for early model enthusiasiasm there, and who knows there's probably a restore left in me along the way. Thanks again! |
