Hey all,
as one who just got his first response from Warren, I hope you're right! He either saved me several hundred bucks, or he just cost me a motor! It was nice to see an intelligent response, nonetheless. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Warren CLEARLY has used tools before, and his patience with us appears to have no bounds.

man, the love radiating from this post has me all misty....;-) ditto to all comments above. i'm moving to dallas next week, leaving my very dependable wrench behind here in tulsa, and now the search is on to find someone who loves working on 911's more than stuffing his bank account down in dallas....at least there's the Early_S_Man out there in "porsche cyber space" oh-what-a-relief-it-is!

OK, on top of Warren just being the MAN when it comes to Porsche advice. He appears to be quite humble as I've noticed he hasn't chimed in on this thread at all. Thanks for being there Warren.

Just read Warren's reply to the "clicking noise in rear" post, and found an answer to a question I didn't know who to ask--where to find ball bearing replacements for cv joints if the races are ok, it's just the balls need replacing. Who needs "Ask Jeeves" when we've got "Ask Warren"? Lol. Wonder if he can help with some problems I'm having with my "Need for Speed-Porsche Unleashed" CD-Rom?.....

Warren has taken the time to send me emails at home with charts, figures, etc. on various modifications I am considering. It is nice to know there are still some people who do things for the pure enjoyment of it or just to help someone out - WITHOUT asking anything in return. That is very cool.
Has anyone seen the movie "Pay it Forward", Warren probably thought of it. |

See...he's got you all fooled... "Warren" is actually a codename for the databank compiled during the life of Dr. Ing. F. Porsche himself. Porsche A.G. downloaded the contents of the good Dr.'s brain to the Pelican website and has a program answering all of our pathetic little maladies. Think about it...he is our own personal HAL 9000 (2001 a space odyssey)

New guy here...I agree with everyone here I have one more question for Warren...
What don't you know???? I have learned more about Porsches in the last month than I can imagine, this place is awesome!! just like our cars and its thanks to people like warren and all the others to take the time to help all of us less knowledgeable people a million thanks to everyone here. |
